Experience

1990 - Green Environmental & Corrosion, Inc., President

Principal engineer for environmental and corrosion control engineering firm specializing in the testing and design of corrosion control systems, including cathodic protection, primarily for transit and fueling systems.

1983,84-90 Corrpro Companies, Inc./Harco Technologies Corp., Atlanta, GA Senior Project Engineer

Responsible for all corrosion engineering activity in Southeastern United States as well as to provide support to other regions. Responsible for supervision of field personnel.

Projects of particular interest

Transit Systems: Primary corrosion engineer for MARTA, Atlanta, GA since 1996. Responsible for providing ongoing engineering support and testing services for rail system components as well as various utility systems.

Airport Fueling: Performed corrosion control studies and/or designs at numerous commercial airports throughout the U.S.

San Francisco International Airport – Responsible for cathodic protection design and construction coordination for fuel piping systems during total renovation of SFO fueling system; which was a $5Billion project.

Chicago, IL – Provided complete cathodic protection system design for new fueling system and renovated all existing cathodic protection systems at O’Hare Airport; a $500Million project

Atlanta, GA – Responsible for cathodic protection design at new terminals and concourses at Hartfield International Airport

Charlotte, NC – Responsible for design of cathodic protection system on hydrant system expansion

Raleigh-Durham, NC – Responsible for testing and design of cathodic protection system

Newark, NJ – Responsible for complete testing of cathodic protection on fueling system

Oakland, CA - Responsible for complete design and testing of cathodic protection on fueling system

Anchorage, AK - Responsible for design of cathodic protection system on hydrant system expansion

Reno, NV - Responsible for testing and design of cathodic protection system

Ft. Myers, FL - Responsible for testing and design of cathodic protection system

U.S. Navy - Basewide corrosion survey and corrosion control program development for Pearl Harbor Naval Station, HI.

U.S Navy - Basewide corrosion survey and corrosion control program development for Subase Bangor, Seattle, WA.

U.S Navy - Project engineer for design of over 25 corrosion control projects at various Naval facilities in the Western US.

Other:

City of San Francisco - System-wide corrosion survey and design of cathodic protection systems for over 40 miles of large diameter steel piping. Project included construction inspection and commissioning.

City of Atlanta - Involved with corrosion survey of underground water lines throughout the City.

Various - Heavily involved in UST monitoring, design and testing of corrosion control systems. Have personally tested over 1000 tanks. Performed cathodic protection designs for numerous clients.

Various - Fuel storage facilities and pipelines - Recent experiences stress the evaluation of existing fueling facilities and pipeline systems in terms of corrosion activity and corrosion control.
